The Mobile Zoo was established for the preservation of endangered/non-endangered wildlife, and for the education/enjoyment of the public. In 1994 the doors opened to the zoo, out of necessity in the Mobile County and surrounding region for a World Wide collection of wildlife. There is much wildlife checking you out as visitors to their territory. Many are native to the west and America. Much more are from Africa, India, Europe, Australia, Russia, etc.... The Zoo is dedicated to providing a good home for these wildlife and is especially concerned with providing information to the public for their survival and co-existence amongst us.
I would like to say thank you, to the people who are working this zoo. Everyone works hard. A goal for the zoo is to provide a home for such great wildlife and to educate people as to their survival in the future.
